บทคัดย่อ

        การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) การผลิต การเผยแพร่ การใช้ประโยชน์ และปัญหาการใช้ผลงานทางวิชาการของคณาจารย์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง และ (2) สภาพและปัญหาในการจัดการผลงานทางวิชาการของคณาจารย์ในสำนักหอสมุดกลาง สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง  ผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการสำรวจการผลิต การเผยแพร่ การใช้ประโยชน์ และปัญหาการใช้ผลงานทางวิชาการของคณาจารย์ โดยมีขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 181 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปเพื่อหาค่าความถี่ และค่าร้อยละ ใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์เก็บข้อมูลจากบรรณารักษ์ของสำนักหอสมุดกลาง จำนวน 8 คน เกี่ยวกับสภาพและปัญหาในการจัดการผลงานทางวิชาการของคณาจารย์ในสำนักหอสมุดกลาง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยวิธีวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา จัดกลุ่มข้อมูล และนำเสนอเป็นความเรียง ผู้วิจัยนำผลการวิจัยมาใช้สร้างแนวทางการจัดการผลงานทางวิชาการของคณาจารย์สำหรับสำนักหอสมุดกลาง สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง

Abstract

        This research paper had two objectives: (1) To study the production, distribution, use and concurrent problems in the use of scholarly works by faculty members at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL); (2) To examine the situation and problems in  the management of  the scholarly works  at the Central Library, KMITL.

        A questionnaire was used to collect data from 181 faculty members concerning the production, distribution, use and concurrent problems in the use of scholarly works.  Using techniques of descriptive statistics, the data collected were analyzed in terms of frequency and percentage.  A structured interview was used to collect data from 8 librarians about the situation and problems in the management of the scholarly works at the Central Library.  A content analysis technique was used to analyze the interview data which were subsequently categorized and presented in descriptive form. The research results were used to construct a guideline for the management of the scholarly works of faculty members for the Central Library, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
